Cherry Cherry

Remember those silly old greetings cards I made? no? well, if you need reminding take a look in Cherry Cherry, a lovely little shop down Lower Goat Lane that is now stocking them. Plus I also have a new design, Stylish Bob (no relation to Silent Bob...... or Sideshow Bob):

The shop features works by lots and lots of illustrators including some of my fellow students at NUCA; Nicole & Michaela.

Also if you do pop down to the shop then while you're there you might as well pop across the road to the perfect pad which has an illustration exhibition running upstairs which just happens to feature work by Kate Seaward, who also just happens to own Cherry Cherry (small world, eh?), and a number of illustrators from NUCA past and present.

D&AD New Blood

Probably should have posted either before the exhibition started or on the first day but meh....

So, as well as the degree show my work has also been on show at the D&AD New Blood exhibition down in old London town at the Old Truman Brewery. Our course's illustration stand was number 40-something near the hub, though the numbers are a little out of order because we had to swap some of the signs around.... (woops!).

anyway... some pictures of my work on show at both exhibitions may make it blogwise soon, i hope.

Degree Shows 2010

Final exhibition starts tomorrow-ish, private view is 5.30 and then the show is open to the public from wedsneday 23rd to tuesday 29th (excluding sunday). Every day is open 10am to 4pm so if you live in or near Norwich then come and see my work!
All the illustration cohort is exhibiting in the gallery space and the sculpture studio just behind it so you can find it straight off the street without walking around the uni getting lost, which kind of means you have no excuse not to come, ha!

The business cards have arrived!

I love getting post! It's like a mini christmas or birthday having something to unwrap.... unless it's a bill.

Anyway, today my business cards arrived from the printers, and i must say, I'm very impressed. I got them from moo.com where you can upload an image for the back and up to 100 images for the front giving you complete control over the design (unlike some places). For the small cost the quality is really good, even the packaging they were delivered in is nice. I got 10 different designs myself to show off a variety of my work as you can see below.

These, plus my new suit and the vast amount of money framing is costing me makes me feel very posh, if a little out of pocket.
